KMR Freight is seeking a skilled and dedicated Driver cum Despatch to join our dynamic logistic, warehousing and distribution team. This is a full-time position based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and coordination of goods throughout our supply chain. This role combines hands-on driving responsibilities with despatch coordination duties, making it essential to the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will be responsible for both the safe delivery of freight and the coordination of outbound shipments, acting as a key link between our warehouse operations and our customers
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate own motorcyle to deliver documents, Puspakom renewal for company vehicles
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency and minimise fuel consumption
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is properly secured and protected during transport
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and other operational data
- Communicate with customers and warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Comply with all traffic regulations, safety standards and company policies whilst operating vehicles
- Support despatch team in managing warehouse logistics and coordinating multiple shipments
What we’re looking for:
- Valid driving licence (Class E or above) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or in a similar transportation role
- Experience with despatch operations, logistics coordination or warehouse management is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions in the Selangor region
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of logistics, inventory management and freight documentatio
